A nursery is a business enterprise deriving at least 40% of its gross income from the marketing of wholesale plants. With Wholesale Nursery Insurance, you can insure all plants and plant types or select a value that you wish to insure along with those specific plant types that you wish to exclude from insurability. For current growers not insured under federal crop insurance, you may purchase a policy at any time during the year with a 31 day attachment date once all policy documents are received alongside a grower nursery inspection stipulation.
