Kim is a Rio Grande Valley native originally from Weslaco, Tx. She has spent the last 23 years in Port Mansfield recently moving to Alamo,Tx.
Kim is The Proud Mother of Two Children and Three Beautiful Grandchildren all of whom love the adventurous great outdoors.
Her working career started in high school as a part-time bookkeeper at First National Bank of Weslaco. From there she spent 25 years in the Banking/Financial industries. After a brief retirement and move to Port Mansfield she started a new career in the insurance field.
In 2008 Kim pursued her interest to sell insurance. With dedication and persistency, she obtained her Property & Casualty and Life and Health License. Kim also obtained her LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow) Certification from the American College of Education. In 2016 Kim Started her own Insurance Agency (Harbor Insurance & Associates) located in Port Mansfield, Tx. This new adventure enabled Kim to continue forward with her one on one Customer Service and Protecting her customer’s needs as they came about. Making her customers a priority she will do all she can to merit the confidence they have shown by protecting their Personal and Business properties with the proper insurance coverage.
Living in the Coastal Area (Tier 1) there are many requirements that must be met in order to be properly insured. Therefore, it is imperative to be knowledgeable about current and upcoming changes in rules and regulations of the insurance industry. Having the experience and the knowledge to deal with ‘out of the ordinary’ circumstances is a must in the insurance industry along the Texas Coast.
