Chief Operations Officer
Jeffrey Vanlandingham began his insurance career with Great American Insurance Company working as an actuarial analyst developing hail and private rates in 1993. After developing private program rates for 3 years, he moved to the federal crop insurance department to develop agent training and testing materials as they relate to the MPCI program. In 1999, he became the National Training Director and worked closely with the operation department to manage both policy update and basic agent training on a national basis. In 2005, he moved to California to accept the role of profit center manager and managed the western United States for Great American with a focus on profitability through MPCI growth with agent customer service, employee development and oversight of both claims and underwriting. He returned to Cincinnati in 2008 to assume the role of National Training and Operation Specialist as Great American continued to grow nationally after the purchase of Farmers Crop Insurance Alliance. He remained in that role until he departed in November of 2012.
After 20 years of service to Great American Insurance Company, he accepted a Regional Vice President role with ProAg to manage their Eastern United States Underwriting and Operations with a base in Lexington, KY. ProAg continued its growth during his 6 year tenure with a focus on agent customer service adding both Livestock Product Training and Whole Farm Revenue expertise to the ProAg business portfolio. After 6 years of work with ProAg, the Hudson Insurance Group offered Jeffrey an opportunity to continue his customer service and training focus with a role as a Regional Vice President of Marketing based in Lexington, KY.
After a three year period of significant MPCI premium growth with Hudson, he was promoted to Director of Marketing Services with Hudson. His most recent role involved supporting the marketing team with tools and resources to develop and maintain premium growth with product education, grower decision making tools, and processing system enhancements. He departed Hudson after 5 1/2 years of marketing and customer service expertise adding significant premium to their nationwide book with a focus in the southeast. His premium lift for Hudson was due to his dedication to customer service and his expertise in the specialty crop business.
Jeffrey graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1989 with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Music.
